Therefore, your main task \u2014 is to ensure that your Carries are protected since they do not use defensive items. As you know, LoL \u2014 is a team game where each player performs specific tasks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the most important tasks is to keep your Carries in the game, which is impossible without ensuring their protection, i.e. peeling for them. So, if you want to keep your Carries alive, you need to learn the basics of peeling in LoL. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

However, let’s start by explaining a few types of peeling, special skills that you should have and use in practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is important to understand that there are several types of peeling and you have to choose the right option at certain stages of the match. Here is a simple example to better understand. Suppose you are playing as a Zed and your opponent has a Syndra that is capable of dealing heavy damage to your teammates. In that case, offensive peeling would be your maneuvers to distract Syndra or try to kill her. Alternatively, if the enemy has engaged you in battle, you can counterattack the remaining members of the enemy team to cut them off from the rest. Offensive peeling can also buy you valuable time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Defensive<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This peeling option is the easiest, as all you have to do \u2014 is stay close to your Carry and use a shield and heals to provide it with protection. You can provide defensive peeling by using champions with in-built shields or heals, as well as those who have the crowd control skill. This way, you can give your Carry enough time to escape with minimal damage. LoL offers plenty of tools to provide defensive peeling. Peeling at the Early Stages of the Game<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

You should always be prepared for the need to provide protection to your Carry as the enemy can infiltrate you in the earliest stages of the match. For example, if an enemy jungler has entered the gank, you only have a few seconds to root the jungler and give speed to your ADC so he can get his feet away as quickly as possible from the potential danger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mid-Game Peeling<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

As mid-match battles are rather chaotic, your opponent is unlikely to have a clear plan for destroying your Carries.
